Rolex Day-Date 1803 in White Gold with Rare Japanese Made Jubilee Bracelet
During the 1960's the Japanese economy was in the midst of a downed economy. This promoted the government to levy high import duties on luxury items with Rolex being a direct casualty. Through Swiss wit and ingenuity Rolex decided that in order to save on imports they would license the manufacture of bracelets to a Japanese company. This manufacturing process would only last a handful of years thus yielding only a limited amount of bracelets. Available here is a 1966 Day-Date reference 1803 cased in white gold and fitted with the rare and sought after Japanese made Jubilee bracelet.
